BALLOONING

This article is about BALLOONING:
In general ballooning , a balloon is made of very thin rubber. When air or gas is filled I it, it becomes larger and rounder and is used by children as a toy or by people as decoration. On the other hand, there is special balloon with  a basket for travelers that is made of strong material. It is filled with hot air or gas to make it rise in the air. It is also called ‘hot air balloon’ which is used as a sport.
Hot air ballooning has become a popular sport thought the world. In Nepal Pokhara has become ballooning center only for the last few years though it dates back to 1785 AD when two French men went up in a hot air balloon in Paris.  It was the worlds first balloon flight with two people who drifted over the streets of Paris for twenty-five thrilling minutes.
Ballooning seems to be risky sport since the balloon goes where the wind takes it. The wind sometimes blows in different directions at different heights. So the balloonists may take the balloon higher or lower to find out the directions of the air. For this, they can either make air hot or cool or they let the gas escape through a valve. But when there is no wind blowing, the balloon may not move at all. Balloons may come in the way of an airplane and can cause a terrible crash.
